Which one to pick
Start from the length of your trip rather than the number of gigabytes. A long weekend needs the 15-day pack; a fortnight of ordinary sightseeing sits comfortably on 5 GB; a month with the phone as your only connection wants 10 GB or more. If you will be driving out of Muscat, go one size up — navigation running for hours with no hotel WiFi is what empties a small plan early.
Will your phone take it?
The handset needs eSIM support and must not be locked to a carrier. Dial *#06# — if an EID appears alongside the IMEI, the phone has an eSIM. Most iPhones from the XR onward, Samsung from the S20, and Google Pixel from the 3a will work.
If you run out
You top up the same eSIM. The extra data goes onto the profile already installed on your phone, so there is no second QR code and nothing to reinstall. Message us and we add it.
