Land in Muscat with your data already working.
Install the eSIM before you fly. The moment the plane doors open, your phone is online — no roaming bill, no queue at the airport, no hunting for a shop that sells tourist SIMs.
- Works the moment you land
- Keep your own number
- No physical SIM to swap
Why not just turn on roaming
Because roaming is billed by your home carrier at their rate, and you find out what it cost after the holiday.
You know the price before you go
A travel eSIM is prepaid. You buy a fixed amount of data at a fixed price, and there is no bill waiting for you when you get home. Roaming is the opposite: the meter runs and the invoice arrives later.
Your own number keeps working
The eSIM is a second line. Your usual SIM stays in the phone with your number on it, so WhatsApp, your bank's one-time codes and anyone calling you all carry on as normal — you simply take your data from the eSIM instead.
Nothing to collect, nothing to lose
There is no plastic SIM to pick up at the airport, no tray to open on a plane, and no tiny card of your own to keep safe for the trip home. It arrives as a QR code and installs in about a minute.
It is working before you need it
Install it at home on your own WiFi, while you still have signal and time. The most expensive moment to discover a connection problem is standing in an arrivals hall with no data and no way to ask for help.
How it works
- 01
Buy before you fly
Pick the amount of data your trip needs. The QR code arrives by email and on WhatsApp, usually within a couple of minutes.
- 02
Scan it at home
Open your phone's settings, add an eSIM, and scan the QR while you are still on WiFi. It installs but stays dormant — nothing is used until you arrive.
- 03
Land and switch on
Turn on data roaming for the eSIM line when you land. It connects to a local network in Oman and you are online, with your own number still in the phone.
Data for the length of your trip
Short breaks, a fortnight, or a month of work — priced in Omani rial, with the amount of data written on the front rather than hidden in a policy.
We are confirming coverage and per-gigabyte cost with the network before we publish a price, because a launch price we have to raise in a month is worse than a week of waiting. Message us and we will send the plans the day they go live — and answer anything about your handset or your trip in the meantime.

Two things have to be true: the handset supports eSIM, and it is not locked to a single carrier. Dial *#06# — if an EID appears alongside the IMEI, your phone has an eSIM. Most iPhones from the XR onward, Samsung from the S20, and Google Pixel from the 3a will work.

Will I lose my own phone number?
No. The eSIM is added as a second line, so your existing SIM and your number stay exactly where they are. You set the eSIM as your data line and leave your own number for calls and texts. WhatsApp keeps running on your usual number.
When does it start counting?
Validity begins the first time the eSIM actually carries data, not on the day you buy it. That is the whole point of installing it at home: you can set it up a week early and it will not start running down until you land.
Can I install it after I arrive in Oman?
You can, but you need an internet connection to do it — airport or hotel WiFi. It is far easier to install before you leave, while you are still on a connection you trust.
Does it include calls and a local number?
No. This is data only, and there is no Omani number attached. Calls over WhatsApp, FaceTime, Messenger and similar apps all run on data, so those work normally.
What happens if I run out of data?
You top up the same eSIM. The new data goes onto the profile already installed on your phone — there is no second QR code and nothing to reinstall.
What if it does not work when I land?
Message us. Almost every case is one of two settings — data roaming switched off for the eSIM line, or the line not selected for mobile data — and both take under a minute to fix. We answer on WhatsApp.
